Vancouver Provincial Adult Criminal Court Services

Provincial criminal court registry and duty counsel at 222 Main Street in Vancouver, serving Vancouver and Burnaby (circuit court also held in Bella Bella, Bella Coola, and Klemtu). Duty counsel gives free advice on charges, court procedure, and legal rights, and can represent people at bail hearings or with a guilty plea, for people charged with a crime who do not have a lawyer and have not been able to get legal aid. Duty counsel sees drop-in clients only if time allows that day, so hours vary. The registry is open Monday to Friday, 9am-4pm.
