About Us
What This Site Is
Vancouver Seniors is a free online directory of programs and services for older adults in Vancouver: health care, housing, food, legal help, transportation, community activities and more. Everything is gathered in one place and sorted so it's easy to find.
It's an independent initiative. It isn't run by the City of Vancouver, a health authority, or any company, and there are no ads, no sign-ups, and nothing to buy.
What You'll Find
- 250+ services across 20 categories
- Three ways to look: browse by category, search, or use the neighbourhood map
- Phone numbers you can tap to call, and directions to each location
- Services for every senior, including Indigenous Elders, 2SLGBTQ+ seniors, newcomers, and caregivers
About the Founder
Hi, I'm Dylan Thomas. I started Vancouver Seniors in 2026, after years of working alongside seniors in Vancouver. The same problem kept coming up: the help was out there, but finding it meant digging through scattered websites, outdated lists and long phone trees.
I built this directory to make that easier. It's for seniors themselves, for the families and caregivers who help them, and for the workers who support them every day.
Keeping It Useful
Listings are chosen and reviewed by hand and checked from time to time, but services change. Hours shift, and programs move or close, so it's always a good idea to call ahead before you go. If something looks out of date, please use Share Feedback on the listing, or let us know through the contact page. Organizations that serve seniors are welcome to suggest a listing or a correction too.
