Newcomer Services – Mount Pleasant Neighbourhood House

Newcomer settlement program run by Mount Pleasant Neighbourhood House. Helps newcomers learn about health care, the legal system, education, employment, finances, housing, and child care, with one-to-one settlement counselling and help filling out forms. Offers English conversation circles, groups for women in Arabic and Spanish, computer and tech help, and community connection activities. Settlement participants get a free first year of Neighbourhood House membership. Call or visit Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm, to register.
