National charity providing support, education and advocacy for people living with neuromuscular disorders such as muscular dystrophy, and for their families, including in BC. A regional support specialist for BC and Yukon offers emotional support, education sessions, and referrals, reached at 1-800-567-2873 extension 4304. A separate equipment funding program helps cover the cost of mobility equipment and assistive devices. Free to use. Contact by phone or email, as there is no walk-in BC office.
