Jewish Seniors Alliance of BC (JSA)
Jewish Seniors Alliance of British Columbia (JSA) is a volunteer-driven nonprofit that works to enhance the quality of life for adults aged 55 and older through peer support, advocacy, education, and community outreach. The organization offers programs such as one-to-one peer support, friendly visiting and phone calls that connect trained volunteers with seniors experiencing loneliness, grief, or life transitions. JSA also advocates for policies that support seniors while hosting educational forums, community events, and publishing Senior Line magazine, which provides information and resources for older adults. Programs are open to seniors aged 55+ of all backgrounds and aim to reduce isolation while helping older adults stay informed, connected, and engaged in their communities.
