Guru Nanak's Free Kitchen
Free hot vegetarian meals (langar) from a Sikh charity, open to anyone with no registration or referral. Meals are served outdoors at Main and Hastings, outside the Carnegie Centre, on Saturdays at 1pm and Sundays at 12pm. The group owns a building at 245 East Hastings St that is still being renovated, so meals are not served there yet.
