Family Advice Lawyers (Legal Aid BC)

Legal Aid BC lawyers give free phone advice on family law issues such as parenting arrangements, guardianship, child and spousal support, property division, and court procedures. Parents with low income going through separation or divorce can get up to three hours of free advice. People above the income limit may get one hour if referred by a family justice counsellor during mediation. Appointments are by phone only, through Family Justice Centres in Kamloops, Kelowna, New Westminster, and Prince George.
