English Language Training – LINC Program

Free English classes for newcomers to Canada, known as LINC (Language Instruction for Newcomers to Canada) and funded by the federal government. Open only to permanent residents and protected persons. Other immigration statuses do not qualify. Classes run at settlement agencies across Vancouver, from basic literacy through advanced levels, and some locations offer childcare or transportation help. To join, contact a settlement agency directly or call 2-1-1 to be assessed and matched to a class.
